PROPOSAL SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

Authors are invited to submit original, previously unpublished research papers. Papers should be written in English and must not exceed 12 pages, strictly following Springer LNCS style (http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html) including all text, references, appendices, and figures. Please, submit papers to http://www.conftool.net/wesoa06/. PDF format is preferred, but portable Postscript format is also acceptable.

All submissions will be peer-reviewed by members of the international program-committee and selected based on originality, significance, technical soundness, and clarity of presentation. All accepted papers will be included in the workshop proceedings, and authors of selected papers will be offered the opportunity to publish extended versions of their papers in a special issue of the IJCSSE (International Journal of Computer Systems Science and Engineering) journal.

At least one author of an accepted paper must register and participate in the workshop. While it is not a requirement, workshop attendees are encouraged to register for the main ICSOC 2006 conference.

CAMERA READY COPY SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

CRC FORMATTING

Workshop proceedings will be published using Springer LNCS style. In order to ensure that the Camera-Ready Copy of your paper is included in the workshop proceedings please follow carefully the instructions provided by Springer Verlag: http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html. In addition:

1. Make sure that your paper does not exceed 12 pages
2. Ensure that the paper size is set to A4
3. Make sure your paper has no page numbers or running headers
4. Ensure that all figures have sufficient resolution
5. Avoid using color in your illustrations

CRC UPLOAD

You will need to upload a PDF version of your paper and all source files. Source files include the text either in MS Word (97-2003) or Latex (MiKTeX 2.5 compatible) plus all figures in jpg, tiff or png format with minimal resolution of 300dpi. Please use ZIP to compress the files and name the resulting ZIP file using the pattern [contribution ID]-[surname of first author], eg. paper ID 37 from R. Miller should be named "37-Miller.zip". Then upload the ZIP file to the conference website: http://www.conftool.net/wesoa06/

CRC SUBMISSION DEADLINE

The Camera-Ready Copy of your paper must be submitted by November 10, 2006. No papers submitted after this deadline can be accepted for publication.

AUTHOR REGISTRATION

Please note that it is a condition for the inclusion of your paper in the workshop proceedings that at least one of the authors registers as a regular (non-student) participant before the November 10, 2006 deadline. The registration form can be found on the ICSOC website: http://www.icsoc.org/
